I provide information, emotional support, and physical comfort to a mother before, during, and just after childbirth. I believe that birth is a natural and normal process and that women have the right to have the birth they desire.

Description

Birth Doula Services Include: Free initial consultation. 2-3 prenatal visits at your home to discuss what your preferences are for labor and birth, to help you build a birth plan, to discuss what you are expecting of me as your doula, helping your partner with comfort measures and possibly accompanying you to an appointment with your care provider. This does not include your free consultation. Informational support including references to local birth organizations and professionals along with access to my ever-growing library of books and dvds. Unlimited support availability by text/sms and email, available by phone between 8am and 5pm. Available 24/7 on-call labor support for the 4 weeks surrounding your estimated due date. Back-up Doula in the event that I am unavailable. Continuous labor support throughout your labor and early postpartum An attempt to get pictures or video of your birth and baby if you would like. (I am not a professional photographer) Help to establish early breastfeeding and bonding. I will stay about 2 hours to help with your initial postpartum care. 1-2 postpartum visits Additional breastfeeding support, resourcing and advocacy. References available upon request. Fees: Free consultation! Fee of $850 for Doula services, I require a non-refundable $200 retainer fee at contract signing to reserve the weeks surrounding your estimated due date, the remainder is due on or before 37 weeks. I will do what I can to work with you on payment. I am open to arrange a payment plan or barter. Availability: I am accepting 3-5 clients a month. Postpartum Doula Services Include: As a postpartum doula, it is my goal to help you adjust to the many changes and new challenges you may encounter with a new baby. It is my hope that when you have support, those challenges can feel less overwhelming, your confidence may be higher and your new family can bond and flourish. I offer postpartum doula care for you and your newborn infant(s). My services include the following: Emotional support and guidance Feeding/Breastfeeding support Newborn care suggestions and guidance. 24 hour support via telephone, text or email. Food preparation and light meals Grocery shopping Light housekeeping (laundry, dishes, etc) Sibling entertainment Errands Fees and Hours of Services: Free Consultation! My postpartum doula service fee is $25-$30 per hour depending on the service package you choose. I require a a non refundable retainer fee of $200 collected at contract signing to reserve your space on my calendar. This fee is applied to the last week of services. The Basic Package includes 8 hours of support per week for 2-3 weeks. $30 per hour Premium Package includes 8-12 hours of support for 4-8 weeks. $25 per hour Custom Package is a amount of hours and weeks agreed upon if you would like more than what is included in the Premium Package. $25 per hour Availability: I take 1-3 postpartum clients a month.
