Description

Glenda was born in Saskatchewan Canada where she was employed for twenty years as a research Haematological Biological Technologist at the Western College of Veterinary Medicine in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. She moved to the United Kingdom in 2004 to study Acupuncture at the College of Integrated Chinese Medicine in Reading and Kingston University in London. Glenda has a BSc(Hons) degree in Acupuncture from Kingston University in London, UK and a Lic.Ac. (Acupuncture License) from the College of Integrated Chinese Medicine in Reading, UK. She is a certified member of the British Acupuncture Council and adheres to their strict requirements for members. She is also a member of the newly formed Provincial Traditional Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture Society of Saskatchewan which mirrors the strict standards of the British Acupuncture Council and is promoting regulatory status for acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine here in Saskatchewan. She has just become accredited by the Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture Association of Canada. She is also fully insured as a practitioner. Glenda was fortunate to have studied with some of the foremost acupuncturists in the UK at the College of Integrated Chinese Medicine, who are still available as consultants if the need should arise. She has attended seminars on Five-Element Constitutional Factors at the college as part of her Continuing Professional Development. She has also taken courses in Facial Acupuncture and Infertility. She belonged to the British Acupuncture Society as a Constitutional Facial Acupuncturist. Glenda incorporates the Acugraph digital energy meridian graphing system in her practice in Saskatoon and does a graph on her patients at each treatment.
