NESYB is non-profit, year-round basketball program run exclusively by dedicated volunteers. The primary goal of NESYB is to positively influence the lives of young people through the vehicle of basketball. NESYB emphasizes respect, cooperation, and good sportsmanship among participants. Our members learn the value of teamwork as well as the importance of discipline, hard work and responsibility. We strive to improve the lives of our youth by enhancing their self-esteem and providing a vehicle for personal fulfillment. But NESYB is committed to more than just basketball. We also emphasize the importance of education and personal growth through study sessions and mentor ship. Our program is run solely by volunteers who are devoted to develop our future leaders of society. Your sponsorship allows NESYB to continue to ensure that all youth, regardless of their family's income level, have an opportunity to participate in our program. It will assist us in continuing to provide athletic programs, camps, and study sessions for our participants. Thank you for your support and go NESYB!

The Goodman Community Center is a private nonprofit, serving people of all ages from all walks of life. The Goodman Community Center currently houses a preschool, 4-year-old kindergarten, afterschool programs for all ages (including countywide Girls Inc.), an alternative high school, an older adult program, food pantry and a fitness center. We also rent our rooms out to individuals, private corporations and community groups on a daily basis.
