OUR PURPOSE To raise the necessary funds to build a Veteran’s Family Guest house, also known as a comfort house, for current and former veterans and their families. This will help improve quality of life for members of the military, retirees, veterans, and their families undergoing medical treatment at Military and Veterans healthcare facilities. The New VA Medical Center, located at 6900 N. Pecos Rd in North Las Vegas, services Veterans within a 200 mile radius as well as visiting veterans (tourists). It is very expensive for many families outside of our immediate area to stay with their veterans who are receiving Medical treatment for period of time. Are you familiar with Ronald McDonald House? The Southern Nevada Veterans family guest house is the Veteran equivalent. OUR GOAL Raise at least $3 million for the construction of the Southern Nevada Veterans’ Family Guest house. Follow on Projects include: • Meditation garden paths • Children’s play area • RV/travel trailer site We all have important values and ideas, things we care about and want to share. Sometimes we feel our ideas can even change the world, and we want to let other people know how they can join in and make all our lives better. OUR VISION: To raise funds for the construction and follow-on support of a state-of-the-art comfort house supporting families of Veterans receiving medical care at the Southern Nevada Veterans Healthcare facilities.
