Description

New Eden Community Ministries is located in the North section of the City of Philadelphia, PA. We have recently acquired a new building. Once the building is completed we will provide the following services to the community: A Media Arts Camp and Mentoring Program for At-Risk- Youth A Construction Math Tutoring Program for Youth looking to enter the building trades. A Community Food Bank An After School and Weekend Computer Lab for community youth and a Senior Computer Literacy Program. In the near future we will be starting a Construction and Building Maintenance Training Program, A Homeownership Counseling Program and An Entrepreneurial Training Program. We hope to open the center by August 1, 2014. The Impact we hope to have on the community: We hope to provide much needed services to At- Risk- Youth and their families. We would like to serve as a grass roots community development entity by fostering free and low cost training opportunities in the community that will in turn create community wealth through employment and home ownership.
