Description
New Summit Charter Academy is a proposed Core Knowledge charter school in Academy School District 20 in Colorado Springs, Colorado. After a long hard slog with the district, we are working on an approval to open in fall of 2018 as a K-6, and add 1 class per year until K-8. We are targeting locations in southern D20 (Briargate), where parents from school districts 11 and 49 will be able to access the school conveniently as well. We plan to apply for high school at a future date. Our plan is to deliver an academically rigorous yet warm and caring environment, partnering with parents to prepare productive members of society, while instilling a lifetime love of learning.
