Newport Centre is a shopping mall in Jersey City, New Jersey that opened in 1987. It is a major component of the enormous Newport, Jersey City, mixed-use community on the Hudson River waterfront across from lower Manhattan, New York. One of eleven shopping malls in New Jersey managed by Simon Property Group, it is located at 30 Mall Drive West, and is bound by Henderson Street on the west, Mall Drive East on the east, 6th Street on the south, and Newport Parkway on the north. The mall has a gross leasable area of 1149147sqft. The super-regional mall is the first of its size in Hudson County.There are three floors to the mall complex. The mall is a part of the Newport Complex, which includes the Newport Tower, the third tallest building in Jersey City. Both it and the Hudson Mall are in an "Urban Enterprise Zone", reducing the state sales tax on purchases from 7% to 3.5% (with no sales tax on clothing).The mall can be reached via the Hudson-Bergen Light Rail and PATH systems. It is served by New Jersey Transit buses and is the terminus for routes from Jersey City Heights and the North Hudson towns of Guttenberg, North Bergen, West New York and Union City.

Le parc d'État de Liberty (en anglais : Liberty State Park) est un parc naturel, situé dans le New Jersey. Il fut ouvert le 14 juin 1976, jour du drapeau (en anglais : Flag Day), comme cadeau du New Jersey à la nation pour fêter le bicentenaire de la Déclaration d'indépendance des États-Unis.GéographieLe parc occupe une surface de 4,9 km² le long de l'Hudson, face à la ville de New York.HistoireCes terres ont été en grande partie gagnées sur la mer lors de la construction de la gare du Central Railroad of New Jersey et du Lehigh Valley Railroad. Deux anciennes compagnies ferroviaires y avaient installé leur terminus.Informations touristiquesLa moitié seulement du parc est ouverte au public, notamment la partie côtière. On y a une belle vue sur les gratte-ciels de Manhattan, la Statue de la Liberté et Ellis Island. Des ferries permettent d'atteindre ces deux destinations.Outre ses paysages, le principal centre d'intérêt du parc est le Liberty Science Center. Ce musée scientifique contient de nombreuses expositions, ainsi que la plus grande sphère d'Hoberman au monde. On y trouve également le plus vaste dôme IMAX du pays.
