Our goal is to always provide professional, personalised advice on eye health and vision and we offer a complete range of optical and therapeutic solutions. Our focus is the health and wellbeing of your eyes. We believe this is achieved by regular management from the same optometrist, ensuring even minor changes in your vision are detected. We have invested in the latest retinal imaging technology to help us accurately record the condition of your eyes and follow eye health changes over time. As part of our standard comprehensive eye examinations we assess your eyes for glaucoma, macular degeneration, diabetic damage, cataracts and all the other common and uncommon eye diseases. All our basic eye tests are bulk billed, and even though the government has recently reduced optometry rebates, we have absorbed that cut for our patients. Newport Eye Clinic offers solutions to all your eye care needs. We recognise that eyewear is not only about enhancing your vision but also complementing your personality and lifestyle. Our experienced team is dedicated to helping you find eyewear that is right for you and your budget. Furthermore, we have a lay-by system that allows you to get the glasses when you need them. All of our lenses are designed and made in Melbourne by CR surfacing, a locally owned Australian company. Most of our competitors use products sourced and/or made in Asia by overseas multinationals.
