My name is Nicky, I am Mum to three, yes...three daughters and always feel very proud to be able to say that. I am wife to Paul who incidentally has built my workshop from scratch! Get him! And owner of Fletcher my gorgeous spaniel. I love my job. I haven't always had the chance to say that, so it feels so good! I started off in finance, took the AAT and ventured into accounting...why oh why? Still... I did my own books for a while :) I always get a kick out of what I do, from chatting to the customer, the initial sketches...on to the beautiful glossy end product. I spend my days creating jewellery and I quite simply adore it ... hand cutting, finishing and personalising sterling silver and things that sparkle and make people smile. All pieces are designed and handcrafted by me in my little workshop (in my silly overalls, that I quite often forget I'm wearing, then go out!...and they're grubby and people stare, but I'm digressing...) using traditional silversmith tools and techniques. I love my work to reflect the story and life of the wearer, so pieces are created with you and your family in mind and are hand stamped with names, dates, initials or a message that means a very big something to somebody you love <3 or just for you <3 I work to a bit of a bonkers waiting list, so go from month to month, invoicing customers, then starting on your piece once payment is received. I will contact you in your due month, confirming you still want to proceed, if you do, I then request payment. If I don't hear from you by the 1st day of the following month, then I will assume you are no longer interested. The months of July & December are slightly different, in that I need to ensure I hear back before the 10th (July) or 5th (December), with a confirmed order, as August & December are slightly fractured working months for me, so if I don't hear back with payment by around those times, I assume you are no longer interested.
