The store is designed to excite and stimulate all your senses with a unique fusion of science lab meets disco meets dessert shop. Flash freezing ice cream means the ice crystals are infinitely smaller than conventional ice cream/gelato making, giving you the smoothest, creamiest and tastiest Gelatos and Sorbets you'll ever have. Nothing compares to the silky smooth texture and taste of ice cream produced with Liquid Nitrogen. This process was discovered 100 years ago by an English woman. It has been used in 5 Star restaurants around the world for over 10-20 years and was introduced to the general public by renowned TV chef Heston Blumenthal a few years ago. Nitrolato was launched in Cairns in March 2015 by local residents Scott and Kris and is now serving the best value in-house made waffles in Cairns. You will also find delicious Fruit Smoothies, Shakes, Frappes, Fruit Slushies, Freshly brewed 100% Arabica coffee and much more.
