The purpose of the NJIT MGC shall be to foster unity within and among affiliated fraternities and sororities, foster a commitment to community service through intellectual, emotional, and social development, encourage academic excellence through the promotion of higher education and positive relationships with university faculty, administration, staff and students, and foster leadership development within the councils and affiliated organizations.

Dr. David Jefferson, Sr. We realize that God is our source, but He uses work as a resource to ensure that our needs are met. MetroWorks is composed of men and women that give of their time and talents to assist those that are in search of employment, as well as employment alternatives. Our volunteers work tirelessly fostering relationships with businesses, job seekers, as well as community services to form a collaborative group effort of resources. We will continue to make our contribution to the community at large by equipping them with adequate tools, techniques, as well as training and support for finding and maintaining employment.
