Although pregnancy is meant to be a unique and joyful time for you and your family, it can sometimes have associated complications, which lead to fear, anxiety and uncertainty. At Austin Maternal-Fetal Medicine, our goal is help you maintain that joy while ensuring a healthy outcome for you and your child. At each of our locations, a board-certified physician with sub-specialty training in maternal-fetal medicine will guide you through the pregnancy with compassion and empathy in conjunction with your provider. We work as a team to combine our collective knowledge, expertise and management skills to help you get the high-risk pregnancy care you deserve. When needed, we act as your high risk pregnancy coordinators, collaborating with your provider and bringing in pediatricians, surgeons and other specialists as needed to give you the best and most comprehensive care possible. We also provide inpatient services for women hospitalized due to complications in pregnancy. Our MFM specialists are always available for telephone consultations with your providers when you're care for at a facility not services by our group. We are affiliated with St. David's Women's Center of Texas. Our specialists are available 24/7, assuring you and your provider have fast and easy access around the clock. Austin Maternal Fetal Medicine is the only maternal-fetal center in Central Texas as well as one of few nationwide to be accredited by the American Institute for Ultrasound in Medicine (AIUM) for both Ultrasound and Fetal Echocardiography. We are also the only center in Central Texas to offer fetal intervention and surgery. We are your high risk pregnancy team, and our goals are the same: to keep you healthy and relaxed and help you deliver a healthy baby.
