Description

The North Lincoln "Band of Knights" Marching Band is the largest and most visible organization at North Lincoln High School. The band has won Grand Champion titles throughout the Carolinas, and has participated in regional Bands of America events in Maryland, Alabama and Georgia. In 2009 the "Band of Knights" performed in Lucas Oil Stadium for the Bands of America Grand National Championship. The band placed in the upper-half of the competitors. In addition, the "Band of Knights" marches in all home football games, most away games, and performs in local parades and festivals. Each year the marching band hosts the Roundtable Tournament of Bands. This competition uses the NCBA judging system. Marching band at North Lincoln is an extension of the concert band program.
