We serve commercial farmers, farm advisors, researchers, graduate students, and farm communities, primarily through competitive grants that explore new sustainable agriculture techniques and ideas. The Northeast region is made up of Connecticut, Delaware, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Vermont, West Virginia, and Washington, D.C. To make agriculture in the Northeast diversified and profitable, providing healthy products to consumers and conducted by farmers who mange resources wisely, are satisfied with their lifestyles, and have a positive influence on thier communities and the environment
