Launched in 2013, both Northwest Catholic and NWCatholic.org evolved out of the former Catholic Northwest Progress newspaper, which published its last issue on June 27, 2013. Northwest Catholic's Facebook Policy: The purpose of this Facebook page is to provide news about the Catholic Church in Western Washington and create an online gathering space for Catholics throughout the region and beyond. We appreciate healthy, constructive debate and discussion; that means we ask that comments be kept civil in tone. Comments will not be removed simply because they express opinions in disagreement with the Archdiocese of Seattle.
