We provide youth with FREE access to music instruments, instruction, and recording studio environments so that music may become a profoundly positive influence in their lives. Notes for Notes® is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that designs, equips, and staffs after-school recording studios inside Boys & Girls Clubs offering youth the opportunity to explore, create, and record music for FREE. Notes for Notes Studios are packed with professional instruments – guitars, basses, drums, keyboards/synths – and equipment – DJ gear, digital music workstations – and full recording facilities. Beyond providing access to equipment and resources, we educate youth about careers both on the stage and behind the scenes. Notes for Notes® was founded on the core belief that music is the universal language of humankind, with the power to transcend virtually any cultural, racial, or socioeconomic barrier. At the heart of the organization is a dedication to the relationships formed through music. Notes for Notes makes a point NOT to censor lyrics as it is the freedom of expression and respect for the creativity of others that drives an open environment in the studio. We are a not for profit 501c3 dog rescue that specializes in the rescue of giant breed working dogs. All our dogs are in private foster homes. We are a 501c3 not for profit dog rescue. Our dogs are spread out across many states, all east of the Mississippi. We have over twenty coordinators whose jobs include foster coordination, adoption coordinators, transport coordinators, and a range of volunteers who perform administrative tasks and the many tasks related to the care of animals. We place dogs from the South to the New England area, including all states along the way and nearby. We also place in the Ohio Valley into Wisconsin and Illinois. We have recently added TX and Louisiana. We do not place outside our area except in the rarest of cases.
