Description

Congratulations on the upcoming birth of your baby! My name is Shannon and I would be honored to be your birth doula! I am a DONA International trained Birth Doula and am working towards becoming certified as a Birth Doula. I recently completed my training at Mount Royal University. In addition, I have completed a breastfeeding course, so that I may help new moms establish breastfeeding. I would like to be a part of your beautiful birth experience. I will work with you and your partner to provide continuous emotional and physical support during labor. My services while I am working towards certification will be for a minimal charge. I have had the privilege of attending three births as a birth doula. It was incredible to witness the birth of a baby. I truly enjoyed working as a doula and am eagerly awaiting the opportunity to attend more births. I realized I have a passion for birth and babies after giving birth to my own three children. I am also the proud auntie to six beautiful nieces and a handsome little nephew!
