NutMeg Bakehouse is a small, family-run baking and cake-decorating business, using fair trade ingredients wherever possible.

Description

At NutMeg Bakehouse, we believe that even the small things can make a big difference in the world, and we are all for helping to make the world a better place. That's why we buy FAIR TRADE ingredients every time we can - from cocoa, chocolate and bananas to vanilla, cinnamon and sugar. We also buy our eggs free range (help the chickens too!). We're always investigating new fairtrade ingredients, like icing sugar and peanut butter, while making sure we can keep our costs low enough so that you guys get a fantastic price! Currently, we can be found around the City of Edinburgh at craft and food stalls, selling our fantastic cakes and bakes - check out www.nutmegbakehouse.co.uk/events.html to see where we'll be next. We are happy to consult with you if you have a specific cake or an event in mind.
