NuVue Eyecare is owned and operated by Dr. David Gavami and his wife Jerri Gavami and our optician is Rob Garrido, Collectively we have over 35 years of experience in the eye care field. NuVue Eye Care offers comprehensive vision evaluations to detect an array of temporary and degenerative conditions affecting the eye. This includes conditions of the cornea and retina as well as peripheral components of the eye such as tear-ducts and eye lids. A thorough eye examination can detect glaucoma, cataracts, macular degeneration and retinal/vitreal detachment. Your eyes will also be checked for the secondary effects of diseases such as diabetes, hypertension, multiple sclerosis, arthritis and fibroymalgia. At NuVue you’ll find one of Nashville’s most unique and extensive collections of designer and hand-crafted frames. We carry over thirty lines: from hand-made Gucci frames and Denmark’s Kliik collection to German-crafted Ogi eyewear and the fashion-forward Roger Eyewear. Other names you’ll see on our shelves and in our cases include Tifosi, ProDesign Denmark, Frieze, Silhouette, Lucky Brand, Lacoste and Kate Spade.
