Starting as young as age five, our dancers learn and practice the traditional craft of step and ceili dancing on a weekly basis. Members of our school participate in competitions throughout the country and perform all over Houston.

Without the support from other dance schools our feis wouldn't be possible and we value our friendship with you all tremendously. The Quick Guide to Irish Dance Terminology
Céilí (kay-lee) - gathering, in Irish dance it refers to team or group dancing
Féile (fay-luh) - Celebration
Feis (fesh) - competition
Oireachtas (or-ock-tus) - Assembly/Festival, in Irish dance it refers to major competition such as the regionals.
Oireachtas Rince na Cruinne - Worlds Irish Dance Competition
Light Jig - Danced in 6/8 time to fast paced music in soft shoes.
Typically only done by beginner level dancers.
Hornpipe - Danced in 4/4 or 2/4 time to a syncopated rhythm with the hard shoe
SDCRG (Scrúdaithoir Coimisiún Le Rincí Gaelacha) - Certified examiner for the CLRG.
They can conduct the grade exams as well as the TCRG and ADCRG exams.
