A hand shake by the owner himself or his general manger is how we still operate after 28 years. Facebook will give our loyal customers the opportunity to speak for us on a larger scale. No gimmicks and no bull. We let our customers speak for us. Money can't buy the truth. It can only buy people who have great marketing knowledge and are really good with the small print at the bottom. We are sick of the small print and the games. It wasn't easy for us to take the leap into the age of computers. But someone came to us and said something that really hit home. He said, "Clyde, Facebook, twitter and social media is nothing different than what we are doing now, and what you did 28 years ago. Its word of mouth just on a larger scale. The waitress at our favorite breakfast spot one day said. like always, "hi guys good to see you! Are ya having the same today"? We replied with a smile happy to see her ,"yes and don't forget the smile". She told us that her heater took its last breath and could use some advice about whats her best option on a budget. Her heated spa was very important to her, and we knew she needed it. Needless to say, heaters are not cheap. Well Fred, you can't buy that womans smile all at once and thats why we get a sample of her smile, and get to hear that " I never give up attitude" every time we come in here" Clyde told me in a voice i know all to well. Needless to say, we bent our rules for her and she is now officially part of the Oasis family with a high end heater that most people like myself would need to either save or finance she has it all paid off. Her word was even better than her service, and is now not only getting the same great service she showed to us but it showed me that know two people are the same and we should all slow down, take a breath, and talk to that person who you might see at your coffee shop, or newsstand.. This page is for those people who think "the good guys don't exist anymore" and for that waitress who we didn't get a chance to meet. It's for the soccer coach that doesn't coach my daughters team. It's for the "old school guy"who doesn't live on my block that is always saying things like" kids these days don't take pride in their work like in my day". This page is for the people who are just tired of getting the bare minimum and haven't been in the right place at the right time to meet us. Our ways here at Oasis might be a little dated. It's funny to Clyde and I when we hear that. We can jump aboard the "numbers game" our competitors call it, or the "30 pools a day 6 days a week route pushing companies" Their moto is get two accounts today, lose two tomorrow. That is not the way we do things here.Many of our customers have been with us for over 20 years and we know our customers by first name. As a matter of a fact, our payroll is still handwritten. But let me tell you something. My name is Fred Antrim and I wrote everything you just read. I wasn't paid, asked or promised a thing to do this. I couldn't have been more blessed to work for a better Husband and wife team like Clyde and Marianne. They took me in and made me like a son. Ive been here at Oasis for over 7 years now. I started cleaning pools at the beginning like everyone does.And I knew hard work would eventually pay off, but Clyde showed me how to do it with a genuine smile.So, I worked my way up the ladder loving every day. I have been blessed to have been treated as an equal from day one and was given the knowledge from a man who enjoyed teaching as much as i loved to learn. I am now the 'general manger here at Oasis Pools and the service we provide will only get better. My guys who take care of the weekly maint on our pools are amazing. And we train each and every one, like i was trained. I don't allow, or demand my guys to clean more pools on a day that he knows he would have to sacrifice or cut corners to get done. We will hire a new person simple as that, or Clyde and I will clean your pool our self. We all love what we do, and Oasis compensates us all more than enough because we will never sacrifice quality for quantity and happy employees make happy customers.
