Description

Patricia Condon, Ph.D.| Director Dr. Condon is in her tenth year on the professional staff of the University of Louisville as Director of the Office of National and International Scholarship Opportunities and Associate Director of the University Honors Program. The students who work with her guidance throughout their undergraduate and graduate careers at UofL are competing for a variety of prestigious nationally competitive, merit-based scholarship awards representing a wide range of disciplines and offered at different stages of their academic careers. Among them are the Goldwater, the National Security Boren, Critical Language Intensive Summer Scholarships, the Truman, Fulbright, Rhodes, Marshall, and Gates-Cambridge. After receiving her Master’s degree in art history from the University of Louisville, Condon, who is a Wisconsin native, earned a doctorate in the History of Art and Architecture at Brown University in Providence R.I. with a focus on 19th century French art and the European Modernists of the late 19th and early 20th century. She teaches interdisciplinary seminars related to these interests each spring for the Honors Scholars Program. Emily Maiden| Assistant to the Director Ms. Maiden currently serves as Dr. Condon’s Assistant and Foreign Affairs Campus Coordinator for the U.S. State Department at UofL. A former Boren Scholar, she holds a B.A. from UofL in Political Science and Philosophy (2011). She is currently completing an M.A. in Political Science.
