The Clinic offers an extensive range of speech and hearing services for people of all ages. Professionals provide quality services in a state-of-the-art facility. The goal of the Audiology Clinic is to maximize the communication abilities of individuals with hearing loss by providing comprehensive diagnostic services and state-of-the-art treatments for hearing loss and related disorders. The Audiology Clinic serves patients of all ages and encourages family involvement throughout the entire process. Doctoral level graduate student clinicians in the Department of Speech and Hearing Science conduct the assessment and intervention services. These services are supervised by state licensed and nationally certified audiologists. The Speech Clinic is staffed by speech-language pathologists who are certified by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association and licensed by the State of Ohio. The assessment and intervention sessions are conducted, under the supervision of these certified and licensed clinicians, by graduate student clinicians in the Department of Speech and Hearing Science. Therapy programs are designed to meet the individual needs of each client and are provided primarily in one-to-one sessions.

Description
The Clinic professionals perform assessments and intervention for individuals with speech and hearing disorders. Diagnostic testing and treatment for articulation, language, literacy, fluency and memory are administered. Individuals are also evaluated for hearing loss, auditory processing disorders and tinnitus. The fitting of hearing aids and assistive listening devises is also performed through the Clinic.
