As we look around at the world we are living in, we have tried to understand what is really going on. If we would read what the Bible has to say, it would become clear. Genesis 6:9-13, 9 This is the genealogy of Noah. Noah was a just man, perfect in his generations. Noah walked with God. 10 And Noah begot three sons: Shem, Ham, and Japheth. So, God reveals what He is going to do next in the following scripture: 11 The earth also was corrupt before God, and the earth was filled with violence. 12 So God looked upon the earth, and indeed it was corrupt; for all flesh had corrupted their way on the earth. 13 And God said to Noah, “The end of all flesh has come before Me, for the earth is filled with violence through them; and behold, I will destroy them with the earth. Then in Gen 18:16-20, God is about to destroy Sodom & Gomorrah. 17 And the Lord said, “Shall I hide from Abraham what I am doing.” After this revelation, Abraham interceded for them to no avail. But God revealed to Abraham that his descendants would be servants or slaves for four hundred years (Gen 15:13) and afterward would bring them out with a strong hand and they would have great possessions. (Gen 15:14). So God revealed… We can find example after example where God reveals what He is going to do. Joseph, Moses, Joshua & others. The Old Testament is full of holy men that God revealed his plans to. Why should we be any different? Since we are under a better Covenant. In Matthew, Mark, Luke & John, God reveals his Son, Jesus. The book of Acts he reveals His Holy Spirit to the Church. All the rest of the Epistles God reveals his hopes, plans, and desires for us. In Revelations for the first three chapters, God is showing the Church what needs to be fixed in the Body of Christ. After chapter 3 of Rev, the Church is no longer mentioned. (Many believe this is when the Church is taken away; no scripture ref on this because it is not revealed to us). In Rev 4:1; it says, “After these things I looked & behold a door standing open in Heaven and the first voice which I heard was like a trumpet speaking saying, come up here & I will show you things which must take place after this.” God was revealing the judgments to come. This consisted of the seven seal judgments, seven trumpet judgments; and you must know that “seven” represents completion. These judgments come upon the Earth in the time of tribulation. This tribulation is after the Body of Christ is raptured out. At the sound of the seventh trumpet, it is complete. Jesus returns to Earth to set up His Kingdom. (Ref: Revelation 11:14 & 15). For God to reveal to you His Word you must read his Word. You must take His Word by faith. What He has revealed in His Word will come to pass. He also reveals by prophecy from holy men led by the Holy Spirit. God is the same yesterday, today & tomorrow. God is still a revealer today; be ready! Dear friend, why wait to make a decision for Christ? Romans 10:8-11 8 But what does it say? "The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart" (that is, the word of faith which we preach): 9 that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. 11 For the Scripture says, "Whoever believes on Him will not be put to shame." Prayer: “Lord Jesus, I know I am a sinner but I receive your Word by faith. I believe that Jesus is the Son of God, and he died for my sins upon the cross. I receive Him now as Lord and Savior. Amen.”

Mark 5:25-34 25 Now a certain woman had a flow of blood for twelve years, 26 and had suffered many things from many physicians. She had spent all that she had and was no better, but rather grew worse. 27 When she heard about Jesus, she came behind Him in the crowd and touched His garment. 28 For she said, "If only I may touch His clothes, I shall be made well." 29 Immediately the fountain of her blood was dried up, and she felt in her body that she was healed of the affliction. 30 And Jesus, immediately knowing in Himself that power had gone out of Him, turned around in the crowd and said, "Who touched My clothes?" 31 But His disciples said to Him, "You see the multitude thronging You, and You say, 'Who touched Me?'" 32 And He looked around to see her who had done this thing. 33 But the woman, fearing and trembling, knowing what had happened to her, came and fell down before Him and told Him the whole truth. 34 And He said to her, "Daughter, your faith has made you well. Go in peace, and be healed of your affliction. HOW DO WE AS CHILDREN OF GOD, TOUCH GOD? I remember as a child when I went to church with my grandmother. We would get to church early, at least 30 or 40 minutes. We wouldn’t stand around and visit or go to the coffee shop or bookstore (not that there’s anything wrong with this). We would go to the altar and pray. I didn’t know just what they were praying for because most of them were praying in tongues. Do you know what I remember most? There were people saved in every service. These people would come to the altar and cry tears of repentance. People seemed to have a hunger for God that touched the very core of his compassionate heart. There is one other thing I remember about back then, I never once recall going to school afraid that someone would have a gun and start shooting us kids. I don’t recall any kids being killed in school. What I am saying is prayers must be prayed for our children, our nation and for the lost. Even now things that are set in motion can be changed by prayer. It is not the sinners that will pray and get things changed so it has to be us, the body of Christ. James 5:16 The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much. 2 Chron 7:14 14 if My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land. We must learn how to touch God with our prayers. Our prayers must be heart felt or said in faith, not just shotgun prayers with no meaning. God does know the motive of our hearts. Have we come so far from the Lord that our hearts are not sensitive to the leading of the Holy Spirit? Are we really concerned about others? But prayers that are prayed in faith, God will hear from heaven, will forgive us and will heal our land. And, our land needs healing! We’re asking all that read this to earnestly pray for our nation, for our children and for the lost. Feel free to repost.
While thinking on the word it came to me that in the book of John 14: 2-3, Jesus was talking and said, "In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also." As I thought about this, I remembered that since the days of Jesus people have been looking for Jesus to return. Now as I look down deep inside myself, I know that his return is so close that you can almost hear the sound of trumpets. But, there are people out there who have quit looking for the Lord's return. We are told in 2 Peter 3:3, "Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts, And saying, Where is the promise of his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation. Then again in 2 Peter 3:8 we are told, "But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day. The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us- ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night." What am I saying ? Don't grow weary in well doing, just keep the faith or have faith in God because what he has promised he will do .
