This is your one-stop destination for an enriched history, scenic downtown surroundings and an intimate dining experience complimented by fresh ingredients, unique entrees and homemade desserts. In the old days, Pecan Street was second only to Congress Avenue in cultural and economic importance. Though the tenants have varied greatly over the years, the charming architecture of a bygone era, the spirit, quality and color remain a unique part of Austin. Today, we specialize in continental cuisine with a southern creole flair featuring delicious crepe entrees, quiche, salads, pasta, steak and seafood. Our dishes allow you to enjoy the flavor of Austin at its finest. The Old Pecan Street Café is a prime location for any event, and an ideal destination for local and out-of-town guests. With an on-site bakery, we serve fresh bread and decedent desserts daily. This is the home of the famous Pecan Pie, voted Best in Texas, and Italian Cream wedding cakes, all made from scratch with only the freshest ingredients.
