Description
I am Vincent Purcell and I am a well established violinmaker / restorer working for the last 25 years from my studio in Hove Sussex. I carry out fine quality repairs on stringed instruments and bows. As well as my own private work, I am also consultant/restorer for local music shops including Ackerman music Hove, Carousel music Haywards Heath and Water Music. I keep a stock of old violins, student to professional quality, and supply mainly local musicians in the classical, folk and world music business. The instruments shown on this site are some examples of those available in the studios. I have a teaching studio where I teach aspiring violin, viola and cello makers to make fine quality instruments & I provide a friendly free service of advice and estimates on all stringed instruments and bows.
