There are many great things happening at ODA. This session is extra special as we will document the beginning and the end of this session showing the students progress and then celebrating at the graduation party. You ever wrote a song and wanted to record it? My buddy Scott Gaeta has an amazing home studio that's a comfortable environment to work in. He can help you get that big sound your looking for. Scott's a pro's pro and is highly respected at what he does. Guitar, piano, drums, squeeze box, and many other instruments played to perfection. Need background vocals? Sings like an angel to. Hit my good buddy up, nobody does it better. Be sure to tell E'm Rowdy or Mr ShowTime sent ya. Music factory productions.
Lately I've been doing several shows with other DJ's. Some have been Epic Shows of 1500 people others 300 to 50. Most of the Time I find myself in the background being the promoter, Roadie or even training. I haven't stopped learning this craft I love which started in 1988. A full time job since 92' (DJ) Mista Soull showed me his love of DJ'ing back in feb and everyday at the academy. Last night I Showed Deejay Bishop how to make a father cry and express his love for a daughter and how to move a whole crowd emotionally. Bishop then showed me things I will teach my DJ's. We both learned a lot last night. Think of this for a moment. Combined for over 20 plus years, the 3 of us combined have a staggering number of over 20,000 shows. This does not include Showtime Music. #musicismylife
3 years ago I covered a well known DJ to write an article on. We were told not to take any photos or videos of this DJ. As we observed for about 30 minutes it was clear this person wasn't DJ'ng but in fact was a damn good producer. He did the dance in his skinny jeans and his crazy hair style flew back and forth while twisting and turning knobs while the crowd went nuts. I never wrote the article on this DJ I didn't have the heart to. I see a bunch of DJ's posting selfies at the concert. Same DJ's I've seen talk a bunch of smack on push button djs. In reality if you have a computer or even a controller your a push button DJ. it's perception and how you look at it. Not saying push button is bad or good. There are many forms of dj'ng. This DJ went on to win Grammys and I doubt anyone will get that close again.
