One Love 1 Heart is an inspired group seeking to converse and progress together. We are about positivity and Unity. We are an organization of people that share energy and information about a variety of positive topics, and we hope to reach anyone who seeks knowledge, inspiration, and personal evolution. In reflection on the topics we cover, we discuss our experiences, and provide support for one another on many levels.

Description

One Love 1 Heart is divided into five strata. FIT FOR LOVE Members will engage in individual and team-building physical activities. (Team sports, swimming, races, obstacles course, rock wall, yoga, etc.) ONE HE(ART) Participants will engage in individual and team-building fine art activities and projects. (Museum tours, theater visits, film watching, painting [individual and group], acting[ theater and film], and behind the scenes exposure to plays/films. IRON MIND Participants will engage in uplifting and expansive conversation and therapy. Many methods used will be based upon the practices of CBT and Positive Psychology, both of which suggest looking inward to find strength and solutions. TECH TIME Participants will engage in usage of computers and other increasingly common technological devices with the guidance of knowledgeable instructors. Certain valuable programs and features will be demonstrated and made accessible. UNITY Membership in this program is the highest achievement and ultimate goal for all members. Members will learn to integrate all previously mastered skills in the most effective way for their own particular lives. (Involves yoga, contemplation, meditation, and critical thinking.) Reflection upon application of skills that have been learned and positive progress is required.

One Love 1 Heart is an inspired group seeking non-profit status federally. We are all about Unity. When we speak of Unity we can refer to the dictionary definition, which states “1.the quality or state of being made one”. The importance and value of Unity can also be observed in countless cultures since the beginning of known history. In our nation, The UNITED States of America, we have a history of struggling to unite. This problem exists strongly in Memphis, TN. As we aim to make our city a better, safer, and more enjoyable place to live the importance of unity can be clearly seen. We at One Love 1 Heart wish to provide access to the groundwork of unity, which is exposure to and understanding of many things and cultures. Through this understanding and exposure, the common bond of humanity can be seen, as we all seek to live a good life.
