Here's a tip for when you (or I) are setting up a blog on your website: configure it so that the date of your post doesn't show. Reason number one: there is probably nothing in your post that is date-worthy. If it's evergreen material---good today, tomorrow, and for the foreseeable future---leave the date off and your visitors won't be put off by a date in the past. Reason two: when you get behind on your posting (and you will), your visitors will never know.
