I've suffered from lower back problems for years. I've had physiotherapy, private treatment and every pain relief medication available & nothing worked so, I was a little sceptical to say the least. I am however mightily surprised at the results. My back, although not 100% cured is so much better. I'm in less pain, a lot more flexible and my back feels stronger after helpful advice for strengthening exercises. I'm still a regular customer & will continue to be. Can't recommend highly enough! Thank you so much James :) Kelly
After having many issues with my knee and not been able to play sport I went to see these guys for some solutions and what a service I got. The advice I got from James was exceptional, and the taping session was really great value. I now using rocktape every time and stay pain free. I feel like I a new man and can start enjoying my football again without the knee problems. Thank you James Martin
My first therapy session was the result of a painful muscle pull in my back which left me bed ridden for two days. As a boom operator in television, our backs and shoulders are our livelihood. Optimum not only gave me great pain relief in the short term, and decreased my recovery time dramatically, they looked into my job, the movements and muscles used and gave me a plan to fix my posture, gain flexibility and strengthen the muscles I use daily so I can keep working at peak performance. I am a regular client for sports massage to keep on top of any potential problems. Lee
Fantastic treatments that helped me achieve my goal for Edinburgh marathon without injury! Thanks Simon :-) Suzy
Simons research investigating the cause of increased injury potential in Thai boxing as part of his MSc is progressing nicely. After a busy day at Darlington interclub yesterday all data has been collected!!! Just want to say a big thank you Christian and the Dragon's Gym Carlisle for helping arrange participants and ultimately reduce injury within the sport!
Just wanted to say a huge thanks for helping my son with his shoulder injury. The treatment given, the professional relaxed atmosphere, excellent advice and aftercare. My son can now get back to his kayaking and training. One very happy parent:-) Becky
I initially went to optimum to ease aching muscles but while there also got excellent advice regarding a long standing shoulder injury. Massage alongside being given exercises to strengthen certain muscles mean I am on my way to a pain free shoulder. Thank you optimum! Would definitely recommend! Becca
