The 2014/2015 Committee consist of a President, Vice-president/secretary, Treasurer, Publicity, 2 Blood and Organ reps, Events Co-ordinator, Training Co-ordinator, Volunteers Co-ordinator, Social/inclusions officer and we meet once a month. We also have a lovely team of volunteers who help out at our events.
General Info
You are more likely to need a transplanted organ than to donate! Currently 96% of the population believe in organ donation but only 33% are registered organ donors. That leaves 67% of people not on the organ donor register! We can make a difference by encouraging as many people as possible to join the register and discuss their wishes with friends and family. Only 4% of the population are blood donors, we want to increase this through education, publicity and accessibility. This year we are on the lookout for teams, clubs or societies who want to sign up for a session and all give blood together, great publicity for you whilst saving a life!Company Rating
