Orthotic & Prosthetic Centers was founded in 1979. We have offices located in Lakeland, Ft Myers, Naples, Sarasota/Bradenton, St. Petersburg, Tampa and Zephyrhills. O & P Centers are positioned to serve the Prosthetic and Orthotic needs of patients all along on the Gulf Coast of Florida. All facilities are accredited and certified by the American Board for Certification in Orthotics and Prosthetics. ABC provide the most stringent national standards available. O&P Centers goal is to provide all patients with the most appropriate treatment regimen for their situation. The initial consultation is free. Our licensed practitioners fully evaluate and interview the patient. Our staff may also treat patients while in the hospital, at home or while staying in a skilled nursing facility. The practitioner will confer with physicians, therapists and patient family members to provide the most adequate care. OPC practitioners frequently attend education courses and seminars to stay up to date and learn about new products or technologies. O&P Center practitioners also often hold classes to provide continuing educational units to nurses, therapist and relevant medical professionals. Lastly, O&P Centers believes in giving back to community. OPC often donates medical devices to patients. O&P Centers commonly donates time and money to organizations such as Miracle Limbs, The Amputee Coalition, The Challenged Athletes Foundation and various local charities. OPC regularly participates in charity events and organizations. O&P Centers also sponsors several Amputee Support Groups in Sarasota, Bradenton, Ft Myers, Naples and St Petersburg.
