Our next trip is from Friday 7th August to Saturday 15th August 2015 The event appeals to those wanting to experience Outback hospitality not normally available to the general public in a fully organised and supported environment. Farm stays are common & the local service groups are keen to be involved, providing unique catering and hospitality common in the bush. Whilst 4WD vehicles are required, the degree of difficulty is normally low but weather conditions can change that. Participation is limited to 35 vehicles with a maximum of 4 people per vehicle. Organisers have completed appropriate Driver Training and safety is paramount in the planning. Night time brings a variety of entertainment including regular fundraiser schemes such as the auction of numerous donated items. The tour group includes travelling entertainers and fellowship is a big feature. The trek normally covers 3-5,000Kms so there is the opportunity to see a lot of the western country highlights and meet many outback characters who will impact on you.
