Would you like to be part of a vibrant community of fun, down-to-earth, adventurous, like-minded souls? We all love the feeling of anticipation before a trip; the freedom, inspiration, passion and personal growth when we travel. Have you ever had a "peak experience" where you didn't know where you ended and nature began, a profound indescribable connection to everything? Our goal is to share adventures together and to keep that feeling alive. Our group follows the Outward Bound mantra that: "The real adventure/challenge begins when you come home." We will be planning: * International Adventures * Weekend Adventures * Local Adventures and Social Events Simply put, we plan to build a community of like-minded souls where we can share our stories, adventures and dreams. A little bit about me: I am outdoor experiential educator, ocean kayak guide, life and business coach. I am writing a book on living with passion and realizing one's potential. I believe each of us can cultivate and live the life of our dreams. Some of my highlights: * A year studying in the south of France living in a 16th century villa, my room painted with 17th century frescoes of traveling Italian Artists. * During the Olympic Games in Nagano, Japan, I stayed as a guest of Buddhist Monks in a gorgeous temple. We meditated and chanted at 5:30 each morning. The monks were informed that Canadians enjoy beer and each monk shared some from their region of Japan with my brother and I. * Traveling through southern Africa with A.J. Hackett, the father of the "modern" bungee jump. We planned to do the highest bridge jump in the world overlooking Mosi-oa-Tunya (The Smoke that Thunders aka Victoria Falls) but neither government (Zimbabwe nor Zambia) would provide the license and we were concerned about retribution. * Cesna flight above the delta, falls and canyon, white water rafting on the Zambezi River (ranked one of top 3 rafting rivers in the world) starting beneath Victoria Falls. * Volunteering in Lesotho, Southern Africa, living in a mud hut, meeting the happiest people I’ve ever known. * Surfing lessons on Bondi Beach and Canyoning through the Blue Mountains, Australia. * Sleeping atop and looking into the mouth of an active volcano, Stromboli, in the Aeolian Islands off the coast of Sicily.
