Stephen G. Thein, PhD, the director and founder of Pacific Research Network, has conducted over 250 clinical trials and is one of the nation's leading researchers in memory and Alzheimer's disease. Dr. Thein has participated in the testing of several new medications to treat Alzheimer's disease, memory loss, anxiety, migraine, multiple sclerosis, sleep disorders, sexual dysfunction, smoking, social anxiety, and weight loss. Memory loss associated with aging has become the most critical and potentially costly health care issue on the medical horizon. Sometimes simple forgetfulness develops into a more serious cause for concern which threatens to rob people of their memories and quality regarding independent living. The Federal government has focused more resources and research in an effort to avert a crisis.
