From the very start of your visit we want you to feel welcomed and relaxed. Our warm and friendly reception staff is there to greet you as you walk through the door. They will be happy to assist you with registration, including filling out the necessary family history and helping with insurance forms and reporting. Relax briefly before you head back to an examination room. We will then gather a detailed medical history and perform a brief, preliminary exam that includes taking vital signs and hearing about current symptoms and any medications you are taking. A caring, qualified, and committed pain management specialist is key in developing a comprehensive treatment plan, and Dr. Juan Antonio Woo fits that description perfectly. Dr. Woo is a board-certified pain management doctor who specializes in comprehensive pain management and advanced minimally- invasive techniques for treatment of neck and back pain, nerve pain, post-surgical pain, and joint pain. Dr. Woo believes in holistically treating patients by incorporating the latest in pain management techniques such as fluoroscopic and ultrasound guided nerve injections, radio frequency ablations, and spinal cord stimulation along with complementary therapies like acupuncture, massage, and physical therapy. His goal is to work with each patient to create a comprehensive, individualized pain treatment plan that is tailored to each person’s needs. In addition to a caring, skilled, and effective doctor on site, we also partner with patients’ other doctors to coordinate care for the best possible outcomes. Visiting multiple doctors can be stressful and difficult; we work with you to make each visit between doctors as seamless as possible. Our north Houston Pain Doctor facility is happy to provide cutting-edge care in a state-of-the-art facility.
