Paragon began trading in 1990 from Horley in Surrey operating principally within the U.K. handling full and part load distribution. The company entered the European market in early 1995 via the recruitment of graduates in European languages. This was accompanied by a broadening of our product base to encompass Express Services, Abnormal load movement and Project Cargo. In 1998 our success and expansion in Europe and the United Kingdom was consolidated by the acquisition and integration of Glasgow based Citrack U.K. This move established the company’s position as one of the prime movers in produce distribution and exports. In 2013 we established a dedicated UK Sales Office function based in South Wales which concentrates on generating new business across all of our services. Paragon Freight is now one of the principal operators in European road freight distribution. The company has in-house fluency in ten European languages and is at the leading edge of I.T. development in the transport industry. Effective and efficient communication is the basis of our success. We operate with direct computer links to many of our customers and offer web based track and trace services together with text and e-mail delivery confirmation. Unlike many of its competitors Paragon Freight is managed and operated on a day to day basis by its directors. This and the fact that many of our team have been with the company since day one gives us a personal commitment to our customers which few can match. We are long term members of the RHA, the FTA, BIFA and FIATA as well as the British Chambers of Commerce.
