We know you're excited about free dress days, and these days are well deserved thanks to your outstanding attendance. This excitement might entice you to strut down the hallways showing off that new outfit you bought at the mall, but remember, we still do have a dress code on free dress days. To maintain an orderly and safe environment for all students the following mandatory guidelines for free dress days have been put into place by Parkland MS administration. Please note: administration has the right to deem clothing inappropriate and then require student to change into a Parkland MS uniform shirt and bottom. Personal clothing will not be returned until borrowed uniform is washed and returned to front office. If a student bought a free dress ticket for a dance, no refund will be given. Please use good judgment before arriving to school! The following clothing is NOT allowed: *Skin tight bottoms (leggings or spandex) *Skirts or dresses (no type is allowed) *Bottoms with cut-outs or tears (openings that expose skin) *Bottoms that do no appropriately fit the wearer(no baggy or saggy) *Low rise bottoms that do not cover skin *Shorts must be no shorter than two inches above the knee *Spaghetti straps, cami/undershirts, fish net, muscle, plunging necklines (front or back), off the shoulder, bare midriff, or tube tops.NOT EVEN IF COVERED WITH A JACKET OR SWEATER. *Blouses/shirts must be long enough to go over the waist of the pants or long enough to be tucked in *Any type of high heels *Clothing that advertises, glorifies, or supports lewd, offensive, vulgar, obscene, profane language or gestures, gangs, illegal activities, tobacco, sex, alcohol, any type of drug, or violence *No caps/hats are allowed
