Parks for Downtown Dallas is a nonprofit organization whose goal is to establish four new, major downtown parks. Parks for Downtown Dallas has pledged $35 million to the City of Dallas to be matched in the 2017 bond program to create Carpenter Park, Harwood Park and West End Plaza. These parks will enrich Downtown Dallas and provide unifying green spaces in the urban center for the benefit of the entire city. Throughout the development of the four priority parks identified in the Downtown Dallas Parks Master Plan, Dallas residents can stay up-to-date on the latest news, offer feedback, learn about the new parks and how they will contribute to our growing city. Parks for Downtown Dallas aims to take Dallas from grey to green and bring new life to our city. Join us in our mission to change the face of downtown and ensure our great city enjoys great parks.
