I'm an Usui Reiki master, practicing in and around Belfast. This page will be a place to share and learn about healing, compassion and mindfulness.

Description

Usui Reiki is an ancient Japanese technique, which is used for stress reduction and relaxation. It can also support traditional medicine, especially during times when your energy levels are low. A typical therapy session consists of light, non-invasive touch or the holding of hands above places on the head, torso and back. The healing energy is usually felt as warm, peaceful and loving. As a practitioner I draw on my guides and both the universal and earth energies. Reiki is non denominational, so it doesn't matter if you pray to someone specific or don't have a spiritual connection at all. Additionally I offer my clients a save space to explore their feelings and options, using mindfulness techniques like meditation, reflection and releasing or empathetic listening. I am grateful to have learned from the wonderful Ingrid Darragh and will be completing my teacher qualification with her soon. Volunteering with Samaritans Belfast, I have heard a lot of stories and built up resilience and compassion towards my clients.
