Paul is a fully qualified IFMGA Mountain Guide, one of the very few mountain guides who have completed the scheme while based in Ireland. He offers a wide range of mountain pursuits which include rock climbing, mountaineering, alpinism, off-piste skiing, ski touring & winter climbing. Throughout his career, Paul has offered people the opportunity to follow their mountaineering dreams through bespoke guiding and finds himself working all over the world, especially in the European Alps, Ireland, Scotland, Wales and North America. Paul is a provider of Mountain Training in Ireland as a BOS (Irish training board) trainer and assessor, offering the Climbing Wall Award, Climbing Wall Leading Award and Single Pitch Award. Paul is also available for consultancy and site-specific training for climbing walls and companies in Ireland.

Le Slieve Donard est le sommet le plus haut de l'Irlande du Nord avec 850 mètres. Il est situé près de Newcastle, au comté de Down, à trois kilomètres de la mer. Il fait partie des montagnes de Mourne. Son nom viendrait de l'irlandais Sliabh Domengard signifiant montagne de Donard, d'après St. Donard, sympathisant de Saint Patrick et saint patron de la ville de Maghera.
