At PCW Liverpool (Personnel Counselling and Workshops) we believe that the Health and Safety of employees should go beyond the physical and should include the emotional well being of the workforce. Many employees may be encountering emotional problems which will impact on their performance and reliability in the workplace and may even necessitate a period of time on sickness leave. This impacts on both the employer, who loses a valuable employee and the employee who has the additional financial loss of taking time off on top of the emotional problems with which he/she is already struggling, this could be such things as. stress, depression, relationship problems, bereavement, sexual problems to name few. given that counselling on the NHS can mean a lengthy wait, the employee may be absent from work for a prolonged period. At PCW Liverpool we provide brief psychological therapy and motivational workshops to employees of an organisation which is paid for by the employer, thus enhancing health and well being and productivity. All our counsellors are qualified and members of the BACP and carry professional liability insurance
