Pembroke Ball returns on Friday 15th May – bigger and better than ever. Allow yourself to be transported to the exotic and colourful world of Pembroke's Indian Summer, where a fantastic night of celebration and entertainment awaits you... Performances will range from well-known Oxford bands, to classical Indian dance performances, snake charming, and the incredible up-and-coming band Aztex from LYPA. For those needing a bit of rest and relaxation, there will be a sheesha tent, Indian head massages and henna artists to leave you with an exquisite temporary tattoo to remember the night. Part of Pembroke will be transformed into a vibrant Indian street market, which will have a range of activities, and a photo booth, nestled between food and drink stalls. For the pessimists out there who fear that our erratic British weather will emulate an Indian monsoon.. fear not as there will also be a variety of indoor activities should the heavens attempt to dampen our spirits, and college will be covered with beautifully decorated (and sturdy) marquees. Dress Code: Black tie or equivalent
