For all budding tennis enthusiasts. I'm starting two one hour sport specific strength and conditioning classes at Burns Fitness, Swansea. 4.00-5.00 and 5.00-6.00, starting this Tuesday, 10th March. Includes mobility, running drills, core strength and of course a lot of fun. All ages and levels welcome. Contact me for more details.
I'd like peoples opinion on this please. I felt a pull in my lower back setting up for a snatch on monday, I stopped and took a bit of time before trying again and got through the rest of that workout, yesterday and todays workout, which included relatively heavy rack pulls, without any pain. Today though my back gets very tight after sitting or lying down. So despite having great workouts without pain, was it a good idea to carry on or should I have rested? Opinions appreciated :-)
Highly recommend the Garhammer raise for a good ab workout, as seen on the strength sensei page. Laughing and coughing is an issue for me today :-)
In my opinion, if you find yourself having a bad day or lacking motivation in the gym, keep chipping away, you may not hit pr's but if you can come out feeling like you've worked hard it makes it all worth while. Something's always better than nothing! Happy lifting!

Awesome bro session to start the day. Heavy 2's on squats, building to a 185k 1rm and finishing with diamond bar deadlifts 3 sets of 10 @ 100, 140 and finishing with 180 for 12. What PR's have you hit today/this week?
