PKCT works to improve and promote access to the Perthshire countryside for walkers, cyclists and horse riders. Our biggest projects include Perthshire Big Tree Country, Cateran Trail, Perthshire Conifer Conservation Programme and working with communities. Perth & Kinross Countryside Trust is a partnership between, and is funded by: Perth and Kinross Council Scottish Natural Heritage Forestry Commission Scotland Gannochy Trust Representatives from the above organisations, as well as from tourism, recreational, community and landowning interests, form its governing body. The Trust welcomes contributions to support its work: established path networks in and around Dunkeld, Crieff and Blairgowrie; created the Cateran Trail - Scotland’s only circular long distance walk; repaired mountain footpaths; provided information that increases understanding of our surroundings; attracted significant funding to Perth and Kinross
