Philoxenia loves love … "Staying at Philoxenia and communicating with Pamela was an absolute pleasure! Pamela was more than accommodating and helpful before, during, and after our trip. This was our first airbnb experience, and she was super responsive! She made sure we were able to check in to the apartment early, emailed us back instantly when we were locked out at midnight, and let me back in after check out when I forgot something. She was also very flexible (e.g., was able to supply an iron on short notice) and friendly! The apartment's location was great - about a 20 minute walk to Mississippi, 40 minute walk to Alberta, and literally a 3 minute walk to the nearest MAX station. The only very sight drawback was that the people staying above us had kids that were running around early on the weekend. All in all, a fantastic stay. If we were to visit Portland again, we would definitely look into Philoxenia or one of Pamela's other apartments. Thanks for a great experience!" - Lily M.

Philoxenia loves love … "Had a spectacular 3 days at Philoxenia! Pamela was a great host, always available and willing to answer any questions we had. The space itself was really cool, clean, and tastefully decorated. We thought the location was great - just far enough outside the city center to get a true neighborhood feel, but definitely within easy driving/biking/transit distance to downtown. Will definitely stay at Philoxenia the next time we're in town!" - Wes S.
Philoxenia loves love … "Pamela welcomed us at the door and was very, VERY accommodating. She even went so far as to pick up some car seats for our kids. We also found children's books on the coffee table and a super tasty beer in the fridge for mom and dad. The place was very neat and tidy - very clean and the photos are a good representation. Everything we needed was on site. The house is close to grocery stores and a great kid-friendly burger pub that we enjoyed." - Mike D.
Philoxenia loves love … "This was my first trip to Portland and it was fantastic! Philoxenia was the perfect base for exploring and was in a very cool neighbourhood with some awesome bars and eateries within easy walking distance. The apartment was great, love the decor, very clean, all the amenities we needed and some lovely touches added - such as the Portland craft beer waiting for me in the fridge! Pamela was wonderful with both pre-booking and post booking inquiries. She was very quick to reply and gave me some fantastic tips before I left and also whilst I was in Portland and looking for a good sunset spot! Could not recommend enough, I will be back for sure!" -Helen W.

Philoxenia loves love … "This was exactly what we were looking for-super convenient to the MAX, easy to find, very clean, private, and had plenty of room for the two of us! We really appreciated the restaurant listings, WiFi and coffee/tea that was provided. The host, while we never got a chance to meet, was super welcoming and checked in regularly to see if we needed anything. The location was good-there were plenty of restaurants around and it was really easy to get around. We would stay again! " - Brook C.
