Ergonomics tips for your office/work place: Starting with your chair, have your chair at a height where your feet are planted on the ground and your back is fully supported and in an up right position. Your computer screen should be at eye level so your not looking up, down or to one side. Your mouse, if possible should be a static pad on your keyboard and your keyboard should be on your lap. This way your elbows are to your sides. If you are not looking up or down or to the side for long periods of time, your neck won't kink up on you. If your feet are firmly planted on the ground you will sit up straight which will result in better posture. If your keyboard and mouse are on your lap you won't be bending forward causing lower back pain or over extending your reach for them creating that horrible pain in your mouse arm and shoulder. Rember that repetative incorrect posture and movement results in chronic pain and discomfort. Pay attention to your posture starting today.
