RSVP today for our "Favorite Books, Second Looks!" event - Thursday, December 11th at 7:00 PM at Sue Davis' home. Cost: $5 to attend; additional $5 per book RSVP: leave a comment here or email Maryjane Hotaling to let her know you are sending a check. Bring a favorite gently-used or new book wrapped in holiday paper. Paperbacks welcome. A donation ($5 per book) will allow you to take home one of the books for a cozy winter read! Light snacks, wine and dessert will be provided.

Volunteers needed! The club has two interest group positions to be filled for the 2014-2016 club years: -Literacy Outreach Coordinator: Responsible for planning two literacy service events for club members to participate in (one in the fall, and one in March for Fraternity Day of Service). The position reports to the Programming Chairs. This position would also serve on the trivia night committee. -Dinner Club Chair: Responsible for coordination of the dinner club. Group typically meets every other month at a new location in the St. Louis area. Both of these positions require minimal time, and training would be provided. Location: Meet at the corner of Faulkner Dr. & Clayton Ave. in Forest Park (near the Science Center). This is a rain-or-shine event. We will be taking a 45-minute tractor-pulled wagon ride through the Park, followed by a bonfire at Jefferson Lake, with s’mores and hot cocoa! CHANGE IN PLANS FOR TOMORROW's SERVICE PROJECT: Since we have such a small group, our assignment for Little Bit Foundation has changed - they are now asking that we meet at their warehouse at 8:30am (2300 Clark Ave, 63103) - we will do a little work there and then move on to a preschool book event.
