I started the Pig City Store as a place to sell products that I designed and applied to Products, whether they were on Garments, Phone cases or Mugs. Why PIG? - Pig was a nickname I picked up in basic training during my time in The Junior Parachute Regiment Company - Pirbright. Why CITY? I hope to continue extending the opportunity to other friends and like minded artists & designers in the hope of increasing the art and design product offerings (if you'd like to sell your products/ designs on Pig City please reach out.) Charity Support - Wee Piggy Foundation. I want to help, support & give back. What is The Wee Piggy Foundation? I set aside personal money from the sales of my products to give to and support various charities and campaigns. How much do I set aside? 10% of Clothing & Accessories sales 20% of Prints sales Who Do I support? Although I personally support bigger charities such as Help for Heroes, Cancer & Heart Charities as well as a lot of Children’s Charities the Wee Piggy Foundation is set up to help smaller campaigns & charity events. For example ‘Rank/Mr/Mrs Bloggs’ doing a ‘10 tab/run/skydive etc.’ for ‘personal cause.’ How much do I give? There are lots of really great causes; I tend to donate between £10 & £100 depending on what’s in my pot. You will know I have donated, as you will see either ‘Wee Piggy Foundation’ or ‘Pig Jackson’ against the donation. Is Wee Piggy Foundation a charity? No – not yet; this is my personal money from the sales of products from my online store. If online sales increase or money starts being heavily donated then I will look to formalize the foundation. For the time being the limited low sales volume ‘out weigh’ the charity status complexity and admin bureaucracy. How can you get funds or support for an event?
