For my gym go-ers and everyday shampoo-ers. So as most of my existing clients know, I promote that less is more when it comes to shampooing. Most times to their defense I will hear, "My hair is too oily" or " I workout and don't want to smell sweaty". Well try this little trick. If you must wet your hair, "shampoo" with your conditioner. Yes that means leave the actual shampoo out of the equation and use your conditioner instead. (Work in at ends, massage scalp with pads of your fingers). Dry with the necessary tools to protect it from heat damage, then use a dry shampoo at the scalp per directions. Dry shampoo will absorb any excess oils and this will alleviate the adverse effects of over shampooing. It will also allow the hair to retain the natural oils it needs (sebum) but rinse away debris and dust that we don't like to see or smell!
If there is one thing you could change about your hair what would it be?
For all you gym go-ers Did you know: if you are spending any time in the dry sauna it is affecting the condition of your hair. The exposure to the dry heat has the tendency to dry out your tresses more than if you didn't visit the hot room. The good news is, You don't have to compromise! With Alfaparf leave in conditioner you can protect your hair and still reap the benefits of the sweaty detox. To utilize this, use the leave in conditioner daily. If you have highly processed/fragile hair put some leave in before you enter the sauna to give it the extra protection it will need.
